For Machine Repair: Fill Out the Machine Repair Request Form below:

  • Please fill out the online Machine Repair Request Form (below) before coming to The Fabric Garden. 
  • We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 9am-2pm, and Fridays 9am-5pm. 
  • Curbside dropoff / pickup for machine repair has been suspended as of 5/24/21 per our updated COVID guidelines 

What To Bring With Your Machine

Please ONLY bring these items in with your machine. 

Please have the below items in a separate bag (Ziploc/ See-through bag preferred). 
Write your name, telephone number, and model of machine on the bag.

  • Foot control
  • Power cord
  • Spool Cap
  • "A" utility foot or "F" foot
  • Buttonhole Foot
    • If machine is having stitching issues, please provide a sample if possible
    • We do not accept wheeled trolleys due to space limitations.
Leave the Following On Your Machine:
  • Zigzag Stitch Plate (wide opening)
  • Bobbin
  • Bobbin Case
  • Clear Bobbin Cover
  • Cover or case (if you have one)
  • Power Cord
  • Spool Cap
  • Bobbin in your Bobbin Case
  •  "P" Embroidery Foot
  • Smallest Embroidery Hoop
  • Removable Embroidery Carriage (if your machine has one)
  • Foot Control
  • Power Cord
  • Presser Foot
  • 4 spools of your serger thread

Where Can I Find the Serial Number / Model Number for my Janome Machine?

You will need your Model Number and Serial Number for the below form.   Typically the Serial Number is on the back side of your machine (sometimes on the underside if it's not on the back), you will find a plate with the model number and serial number which looks like this:

If Shipping Your Machine to us for service:

  • You MUST ship your machine to us in the ORIGINAL Janome box and styrofoam/cushioning. 
  • Do not ship your machine to The Fabric Garden without having it in factory-original box and styrofoam/cushioning. 
  • The Fabric Garden will not service or ship machines back if lacking factory-original box & styrofoam /cushioning, nor is The Fabric Garden responsible for any damage/issues with your machine.  (added 2/25/2021)

Sewing Machine Repair Request Form

Please fill out this form before dropping your Janome machine off for service at The Fabric Garden. All service includes a machine clean/ oil / adjust. If your machine is having stitching issues, please bring a sample. Please bring the required accessories listed above. IF SHIPPING YOUR MACHINE: You MUST ship your machine to us in the original Janome Box AND factory-original styrofoam / cushioning. We will not ship back machines that don't have factory-original packaging. We are not responsible for machines that arrive to us without these requirements.
